John James Audubon is usually associated with birds, but the state park named for him in western Kentucky will be highlighting wildflowers this weekend.
The annual Wildflower Extravaganza is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. CDT Saturday at the Henderson park.
There will be three wildflower walks to identify different plants, a scavenger hunt for children, presentations and a program about landscaping for birds. Visitors will learn about the area's flowers and their historical uses.
